LPR sold, will reopen as a dirt track

COEBURN — Lonesome Pine Raceway has been purchased by local businessman Bobby Hill, who has plans to reopen it as a dirt track in 2019. Lonesome Pine Raceway to have dirt surface

According to Kingsport Speedway general manager Karen Tunnell Monday, new Lonesome Pine Raceway owner Bobby Hill plans to reopen the dormant facility in Coeburn, Virginia, next year as a dirt track.
